I received my copy of Sally Melville's Book 2:The Purl Stitch last Thursday. I have only really glanced through it at the moment but I have to say from first impressions I love it as much as Book 1.
The dress on the front cover is fun but what yarn would one knit it in please?
What gauge is she recommending? That might help figure out a substitute for whatever yarn is being used.
I really like Bold Stripe, bet it looks better 'in the flesh' so to speak
I say just be daring and knit the dress in Kidsilk Haze on airy 8mm needles....!!
