As promised here are some photos of what I have been up to recently - apart from working that is!!!
Debbie Bliss reversible bag from book 6. This is knitted in Debbie Bliss merino aran. For the outer bag I used green and for the inner bag pink. It was done on 6.5mm and 7mm needles so knitted up really quickly. I sometimes take my daily supply of fruit to work in it and it sits on my desk. People in the office can't believe I knitted it especially with the 2 colours.

Here is the ribbed cushion I mentioned.

I took this pattern from Debbie Bliss's website. Again another quick knit in Debbie Bliss merino chunky on 6.5 mm needles
Elfin
I have taken a photo of sleeve number 1 so that you can see the frills.

PHOTO OF ELFIN SLEEVE
I need to do the frills for sleeve number 2 and then it will be a huge deep breath before I undertake the frills for the front - how many stitches in kidsilk haze?
Party Purses
Back in October Kristine Webster of - Digital Yarn was over in the UK and I along with some fellow rowanettes met up with her one Thursday afternoon in The Art Bar Cafe at Libertys. Kristine very kindly gave me the yarn and pattern to make a party purse from fiber trends.
The body is knitted in Lamb's Pride and the novelty yarn around the top is eyelash. It is knitted on 9mm needles.
What a better way to spend a Saturday than knitting the purse and drinking coffee and that is exactly what I did.
This is a picture of it before it is felted.

PHOTO OF BAG PRIOR TO FELT
A photo of the finished item will appear shortly!
Ideal for the party season.
And now for my knititng chair - an early christmas present and I love it, it is so comfy and I could spend all day sat in it with a pair of needles knitting away.

PHOTO OF CHAIR
Some of you may know that back in the summer I knitted a throw in Jaeger Odessa to wear over a dress to Goodwood races - well here is a photo of it for those of you who haven't seen it.

I hope you have enjoyed my resume - away to knit!!

Yay!!! You're back with photos too :-)
I second that comment - there's nothing finer than seeing photos of some elses knitting. Good job!
I think that chair looks wonderful (as of course does all the knitting). I usually sit in the middle of the sofa with everything all round me and on coffee table - or in the dining room in my father's old G-plan fireside chair - very comfortable but it has open sides and things fall out..... If you don't know what G-plan is, ask your mother!
the reversible bag is totally fun!!! and i love how you've gone sort of monotone on Elfin - the blues are quite quite lovely :)
