Sorry friends I have spent a little too long away but fear not I have not been away from my knitting.
I have actually been quite a busy bee on that front.
On Thursday evening I decided to cast on the long awaited Audrey from Rowan book 35. I have been looking at the calmer in coral shade sat on my shelf for some weeks now. I knitted some more last night and whilst I was concerned at the darts they seem to have come out ok. The back and the front are the same so I only hope the other piece knits up as quick.

I have finished Knitting Bel Air in the Picasso shade of cotton braid and I only hope it looks as good on me as it does here.

Bel Air
I enjoyed knitting with the cotton braid so much that I decided to do

Martini
This is knitted on big needles - 12mm so I have to alternate with a smaller needles project. Hence this still has a little way to go before it is finished but I think I will skip the flower so that should help speed it up!
I have a feeling there are going to be a few ponchos around over the autumn months.
When Audrey is finished I plan to join Polly and Eva in the

but as yet I haven't declared what I plan to knit. I will need to have another look through the Denim People Book to help me decide - Lush is looking promising but then I do like Bomber.
Happy Knitting.
