Sorry...

Well now my knee operation is behind me I can try and get back to some normality. Work was a little busy last week as I tried my bestest to get everything up straight for my time away resting and recuperating.

My discharge notes from the hospital said rest with the leg supported in elevation and the doctor gave me a certificate to refrain from work for 3 weeks.

So what does one do yes she knits.

I came home from hospital yesterday lunchtime and last night I wanted to cast on something new so I decided to use some Noro Silk Garden I purchased on my visit to Burford Needlecarft.

I cast on for a simple stocking stitch v-neck jumper.

This design is from Jane Ellison's book Simply Noro Designs and I am using shade 204 which is a combination of bronze's and blues.

I will try to post a photo tomorrow as the back is already up to the armholes and I am in to the third ball. I also have pictures of Audrey and Jane to take.

Happy Knitting.

Glad to hear your knee op went well - and what a great excuse just to sit and knit :0) Looking forward to seeing the Noro. You should sign up for the Man-along being hosted on this blog !

Hi Anna

good to hear that the op went well! I'm in my 3rd week of convalescence now and it goes all too quickly - enjoy your knitting time and rest so that you are fit for Ally Pally!

I love Burford needle craft, it's great, it's where I first saw Colinette and just fell in love and new I had to learn to knit!
That jumper is rather scrummy!
