Another week passes - they seem to go so quickly. Quicker than I can knit.
However I am making good progress on my "WIPS"!
The "Sailing Sock" is into the foot having turned the heel earlier in the week.

Sailing Sock
These are looking like they are going to fit me well. I have been wearing my opal socks I knitted earlier in the year a lot lately and they are so comfy to wear I am sure it must be knowing they are handmade - it makes such a difference.
York is doing grand - only the 2 sleeves left to knit which I plan to do this week.
My colinette coat is still missing its fur trim although this is coming along well - sorry folks I know there are a few of you waiting to see this. I hope it is worth the wait.
I plan to have both these garments finished by 5th November so that they can keep David and I warm at the Bonfire Party. Perhaps I should finish that scarf aswell - it may be a chilly evening.
I am still tempted by this

Karis in Rowan Kidsilk Haze
I went upstairs and looked at the yarn I purchased for this earlier this evening - I needed to remind myself how soft it is...
Happy Knitting.
