GOD BLESS

My week-end has not gone to plan so I am afraid we have no photo's of knitting.

The train crash of yesterday evening was too close to home. My family and friends were travelling on the railways yesterday between Reading and Newbury. My family are ok - they travelled on the train before the one involved in the crash. Sadly I have learnt this afternoon that one of my friends and her little girl were among the fatalities. Such a tragedy.

I have often used that very same train - the 17.35 Paddington to Plymouth and in fact I was on it only last Saturday after meeting up with a few of my knitting friends.

I have done a small amount of knitting and shall share my projects with you all over the next few days.

Deepest sympathies to you Anna on your loss. I haven't commented before, but do read your blog regularly. I have been a regular traveller on that train as well. A tragedy indeed.

Anna

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend and her daughter. It was dreadful news and it must be so much harder to have a personal connection to such a tragedy.

Take care of yourself.
