My knitting quite often comes in handy to pass the time and today was no exception.
I was on the M4 driving back from Gerrards Cross over the lunchtime today when the flashing signs kept indicating speed reduction - 60, 40, 30 until finally 0.
There had been a serious accident ahead and we were going nowhere. I turned off the engine pulled out my knitting and managed to get 6 rounds of my sock done - not bad I thought for a Friday lunchtime. My time sat on the M4 was not completely wasted.
So I am well on the way to finishing another pair of socks.

Great to see you blogging again , and looking so good with the socks in Lisbon. I found the sleeves in Whitney too long, shortened them skughtly, and now it is made-up they are also quite wide too. I like Bourbon too, but not sure I want it in a woolly yarn?
Sorry about the typos - got carried away by the Eurovision Song Contest.....
Good for you! It's great to have something to keep you occupied whilst all around you are growing impatient and grumpy!
Great to see you back blogging again, Anna!!! And the knitting's looking fine, too!!!
