Well it has been a while since I have been in blogland and I won't bore you with the finer details - least to say things have got a little in the way.
Despite all knitting has progressed although at a slower pace than I would have liked but sometimes you have to accept reality and what is meant to be is meant to be.
The back, 2 fronts and 2 sleeves of Whitney are finished. I just need to do the two bands round the front. I even have buttons which I bought from ebay - when I relocate them I shall photograph for all to see.
The girly socks are finished - socks are a relatively small project but these have travelled well - London, Dublin, Lisbon, Yorkshire, Chelsea Flower Show and my work annual sailing event.

Girly Socks
We all need a little time alone but I thought this could be heavan on a lovely summer Sunday afternoon.

One of the many gardens at Chelsea Flower Show
On the sailing trip I will confess to only knitting a few rows in my hotel room at 2am in the morning.

Peter and I got on great guns and he loved the fact I was a knitter. Peter didn't have a clue when it came to sailing either!

but with these 7 men on board I was not brave enough to whip out my sock to do a few rounds onboard!
I do have other finished projects to share but they can wait for another day.
Manwhile I shall leave you with my current project.

Ruffle from RYClassic Garden knitted in cashcotton 4ply.
I am using sea foam shade and loving how it is looking. I am about one third done on the back but have not photographed yet so picture will follow in a day or 2.
It is great to be back but bye for now.
Happy Knitting
Anna

Hi Anna
Hope all is well with you now, we have missed you!!
Anna,
Glad to see you blogging again - we've missed you!
Isn't cashcotton lovely? Please tell me that the ruffle on Ruffle isn't going to be as bad as it looks....

Hi Anna - Glad you're back in blog land again! I was at Nancy's at the weekend, and was saying to her that we hadn't heard from you for a while! Hope all's well with you and glad to see the knitting's continuing apace!
Welcome back! good to see you again, you have been busy by the sounds of it. That ruffle is going to take some doing, but you did Elfin, after than one I should think anything is possible!
I love the Cashcotton but I am not brave enough to have tried the 4 ply yet. I am using the DK and I am knitting Plaza. I love it. Let me know if it takes forever.
