Leckford Festival

David and I were lucky enough to get tickets for the Leckford Festival. It was a great day out.

There was time for serious knitting

the terrific tractor tour onboard a Leckford trailer where we took a ride around the estate to learn about the marvellous mushrooms, amazing apples, cool chickens, wonderful wheat and other tasty foodstuffs that are produced onsite

a wander round Longstock Nursery, which sells a wide range of plants and shrubs, and is also home to the national collections of buddleia and Clematis viticella.

A visit to the Longstock Water Garden is a MUST

It is a haven for plants and wildlife.

We departed Leckford around 5'ish and

stopped off at The Mayfly for an early supper.

More opportunity to knit
