Hello

Sorry for the lack of posting - it has been a busy summer!! Work, socialising, family ......

I am now back knitting, cast is off the wrist and WIP's are slowly becoming finished garments!

I have started Lily from Kim Hargreaves and am making good progress. Back, 2 fronts and sleeve finished - all in a week. I had forgotten how quicky summer tweed knitted up.

Waves

This is knitted in Rowan All Seasons Cotton and the pattern is from a book by Kim Hargreaves. Good progress is being made on this as well. The shade I am using is Cookie - a lovely oatmeal.

My mum has been in hospital so I have spent a few hours sat in the hospital knitting whilst visiting her. Obviously helped my progress.

we have had slow blogging. This is due to managing to fracture my wrist a few weeks back. I have tried but not really possible - have managed a couple of stitches on a pair of socks but very slow...

I hope to be back knitting at my usual pace soon as things are beginning to build up.

Anyway time for some pictures of finished articles prior to the fracture.

We have socks - I had a few pairs on the go at some point so had to knock this on the head by finishing a couple of pairs.

I am really disappointed with the photos of Jake. Xander has the jumper now so I will have to take my camera next time I visit and get a better shot. Silly me, should have checked the photos before letting Xander have Jake.

On Thursday evening I treated myself - Kim Hargreaves has launched her new collection - TOUCHNG ELEGANCE. I have been promising myself for a while I would buy one of her kits so Thursday night was the night. I bought 2!
