Happy New Year

Well I have not been blogging trerribly much this year. The year has just flown by but I have been able to find some time to knit and finish a few things.

Waves in all seasons Cotton - cookie shade

Socks - not sure how many pairs but I am well short of Polly's grand achievement - well done Polly.

2006 saw my first purchase from Kim Hargreave’s of 1 or 2 kits - well 4 actually.

Lily in summer berry - this has had many a wear.

Soul - a slouchy hat in a lacy rib stitch with a beaded trim knitted in Rowan kid classic. I cast this on on Christmas Day, finished it boxing day and wore it to the sales on Wednesday.

Thea is well on the way to being finished.

Flicker is waiting patiently.

The shade I chose for this is grand.

Purely by chance on Christmas Eve I spotted the Chunky print sale Kim has on at the moment and mulled over MIST for a few days. On Friday 29th at 16.57 I pressed "order" - This will be int he post to me tomorrow and will be a first time for Chunky print for me.

The colour I have chosen is tart.

I have been lucky enough to do a few Workshop's at Rowan's Mill and have a few planned for 2007.

David and I drove to Leamington Spa back in the summer to meet up with Liz Jenks and husband Dave and Nancy.

The purpose, apart from knitting and chatting, was to stock up on sock yarn for the winter. We did this at Web of Wool. A lovely shop - certainly one to visit if you are in the area.

I am sure there is more but even my note taking in my diary has not run so smoothly this year.

I am off to party with Kylie now.

Here's to a very happy and prosperous new year to everyone with lots of fun knitting.
