A couple of hours listening to Tony Benn at the Corn Exchange in Newbury last night and a few hours sat in the garden here at lunchtime today has seen my sock grow.
We are off to Newbury Show tomorrow. The weather forecast is for an even warmer day than today so we should have a good time. I may find time to do some knitting whilst watching some of the events in the main show ring.

I hope this doesn't sound like awful cheek, but I am desperate for less than half a ball of Rowan Kidsilk Haze Poison (which is discontinued). I see that you used it to knit the Birch shawl five years ago (I also see a nice pic of you wearing it -- gorgeous -- so I take you did block it in the end?!). Is there any chance that you have a scrap in your stash, and could let me have it, please? I'll pay all costs naturally....
